On Monday afternoon and at night, the Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the devastated Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians across the destroyed coastal enclave.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said three Palestinians were killed and many were injured when the army fired a missile at a street vendor’s stand in the Jabalia refugee camp, in northern Gaza before they were moved to Kamal Adwan Hospital.

The army fired a missile at an apartment in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, in central Gaza, killing three Palestinians, including one child, and wounding many others.

In Gaza City, the Palestinian Civil Defense located the corpses of three Palestinians and evacuated many injured after the army fired a missile at an apartment for the Na’san family in the Taj Tower on Al-Yarmouk Street.

Several Palestinians were injured, some seriously, when the army fired a missile at a home for the Zeino family on Jaffa Street in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Also, five Palestinians were killed, and many were injured when the army fired shells at displaced families at the Gaza Sea shore before they were moved to the Baptist Hospital in the city.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army has intensified the bombing and shelling of various parts of Gaza City, especially Street 8 of the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of the city, while military quadcopters fired barrages of live rounds at Gaza’s southwestern area.

Many casualties were also reported after the Israeli army fired missiles at an area where displaced families tried to shelter in Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza.

In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army killed at least fourteen Palestinians, including a journalist, and injured dozens.

The Qatar-based Al-Jazeera has reported that the army killed four Palestinians, including its journalist, Ali Abu T’eima, and injured many, in a bombing of a Palestinian car in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis.

Two Palestinians were killed, and many were injured when the army fired a missile at the Mawasi Al-Qarara coastal area, northwest of Khan Younis.

At least two Palestinians were injured by Israeli missiles near Nasser Medical Center and Abu Hmeid Junction, in Khan Younis.

In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, the army fired shells at Nasr Street in the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city, killing four Palestinians and wounding many others.

In related news, municipalities in northern Gaza said all hospitals in that area are now out of service. A senior UN official said providing relief has become very difficult and UNRWA is unable to facilitate and provide services due to the bombing and the siege.

Israel has now killed at least 40,435 and injured more than 93,534, mostly children, women, and elderly, in addition to the thousands of missing Palestinians, mostly under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, on destroyed streets and in bombarded alleys across the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.

It is worth mentioning that Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said that in the period between October 7, 2023, and August 21, 2024, Israel killed 48,380 Palestinians, (43,592 civilians) including 16,008 children, and 10,351 women, 522 healthcare professionals, 301civil defense workers, and 171 journalists, and injured 92,320.
