On Tuesday, Day 346 of the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army, Air Force, and navy continued the bombing and shelling of various areas of the devastated, starved, and besieged coastal enclave, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including many children and women. The attacks on civilians Tuesday included killing a well-known journalist and his entire family, killing a popular teacher and her entire family, and wiping whole families off the civil registry forever, as all members of the family have been killed.

Update 11:50 PM:

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, at least 23 people were killed and over 50 others injured following the Israeli airstrike on al-Bureij camp on Tuesday.

“The Israeli occupation bombed several homes belonging to the families of Al-Tarturi, Abu Shawqa, and Al-Batran, in Al-Bureij camp … dozens are still trapped under the rubble,” Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.

Seven people from the same family have been pronounced dead in the aftermath of the strike on the camp.

The Palestinian Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip has called on the International Red Cross “to rescue dozens of people trapped under the rubble”, adding, “The [Israeli] occupation used destructive American-made bombs in its bombing of the residential block”.

“Dozens of distress calls have been received from inside the homes targeted by the occupation … entire families have been erased from the civil registry in the Al-Bureij massacre,” the Civil Defense added.

The victims of this air raid are displaced Palestinians who made their way back to their homes in the past few weeks.

They made their way back to the Bureij camp and that’s when they were attacked by the Israeli military.

For more than five hours now, paramedics have been largely unable to reach the site of the air strike and rescue those still trapped under the rubble.

Hamas and other Palestinian resistance groups have strongly condemned the massacre.

Two Palestinians were killed and others injured tonight when the Israeli occupation forces bombed a house in Al-Sikka Street in Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Israel has now killed at least 41,226 Palestinians, including more than 16.673 children, and 11.269 women, and injured more than 95,413, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.

Among the slain Palestinians are at least 16,640 children, 11,410 women, 183 journalists and 23 emergency responders, 885 medical staff, 82 Civil Defense staff, and 211 UNRWA staff.

Most experts estimate the death toll is much higher – and could be as high as 200,000, when counting both direct and indirect deaths related to the Israeli war on Gaza that began October 7th 2023 when 1100 Israelis were killed, including 700 civilians, inside Israel. Around 500 Israeli soldiers have been killed between October 7th and now – both in Gaza and on the Israeli border with Lebanon.

The Civil Defense in Gaza reported receiving numerous distress calls from citizens and injured individuals trapped inside homes targeted by Israeli forces this morning in Block “12” of the Al-Bureij refugee camp, belonging to the Abu Shouqa, Al-Batran, and Al-Tartouri families.

Approximately 80 people are trapped under the rubble following the Israeli bombing of the Al-Bureij refugee camp.

Civil Defense teams reached the area, but Israeli aircraft targeted them, injuring one of our members and forcing us to withdraw due to the danger.

The Health Ministry called on the  International Committee of the Red Cross to urgently intervene and coordinate to enable its teams to reach these homes and rescue the dozens of trapped citizens.

Israel has now killed at least 41,226 Palestinians, including more than 16.673 children, and 11.269 women, and injured more than 95,413, in addition to the thousands who remain under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, in destroyed alleys, and on streets, as medics and rescue operators have been unable to reach them or recover their bodies across the coastal enclave since October 7, 2023.
