Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling killed 54 Palestinians in Gaza today. The following is a summary of the incidents that have taken place on Tuesday November 5th:
Northern Gaza Strip:
•54 people, including 39 from northern Gaza, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes since dawn.
•Kamal Adwan Hospital was bombed, trapping patients, children, and medical staff. Water tanks on the roof were destroyed, leaving the hospital without water.
•Maintenance efforts at the hospital are hindered by ongoing attacks.
•Civil defense services in northern Gaza are disabled due to Israeli targeting, leaving residents without aid. Vehicles were seized, and staff displaced or abducted on October 23.
•An airstrike killed 8 people near Al-Fakhoura Clinic in Jabalia camp.
•Drones dropped evacuation leaflets in Beit Lahia, leading to mass displacement. Despite evacuation orders, a drone fired explosives in the area.
•20 people, including the Radie family, were killed in Beit Lahia; a mass grave was prepared for the victims.
•Four people were killed in a strike on a home in Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
Central and Southern Gaza Strip:
•Strikes on tents housing displaced people in Al-Zawayda, Deir al-Balah, and east of Khan Younis resulted in deaths and injuries.
•Homes in central Rafah and Abasan Al-Kabira were also targeted by Israeli aircraft.

According to the Palestinian Wafa news agency, 5 Palestinians were killed and others were injured when the Israeli occupation forces targeted a group of Palestinians in the Zarqa area, north of Gaza.

A Wafa news correspondent said that one killed and two wounded arrived at Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, after the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on Palestinians in the “Taba Al-Nuwairi” area west of the Nuseirat camp.
Several Palestinians were also injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house belonging to the Saadallah family in Jabalia al-Nazla, north of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression by land, sea and air on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in the killing of 43,391 Palestinians and the injury of 102,347 others, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them .
Among the slain Palestinians are at least 17,289 children, 11,815 women, 2,421 elderly people, 183 journalists, 85 emergency responders, 986 medical staff, and 203 UNRWA staff.
The British Lancet Medical Journal and other experts estimate the death toll in Gaza is much higher – and could be above 200,000, when counting both direct and indirect deaths related to the Israeli war on Gaza.
This most recent escalation of Israel’s ongoing military occupation of Palestine began October 7th 2023 when 1,143 Israelis were killed, including 767 civilians and 376 armed soldiers. Around 500 Israeli soldiers have been killed between October 7th and now – both in Gaza and on the Israeli border with Lebanon.

According to the Palestinian Wafa news agency, four Palestinians were killed and others were injured on Tuesday when the Israeli occupation forces bombed a house east of Gaza City.
Medical sources reported that the four were killed and others were injured when the occupation targeted a house belonging to the Al-Sharafa family on Old Gaza Street in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City . They were transferred to the Baptist Hospital in the city.
The Israeli occupation army also blew up residential buildings west of Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.
At dawn Tuesday, at least 29 Palestinians, including children and women, were killed as a result of Israeli occupation aircraft bombing homes and tents housing displaced people in various areas of the Gaza Strip, including Beit Lahia, Deir al-Balah, Az-Zawayda, and Khan Yunis.
In Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, 20 citizens were killed as a result of violent shelling that targeted a house that was sheltering displaced people, while the occupation’s shelling of a displaced people’s tent in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, resulted in the death of two people and the injury of others, including children .
Four Palestinians were killed and others were injured as a result of the bombing of a displaced persons’ tent in the Al-Zawaida area .
In the Ma’an area, east of Khan Yunis, three civilians, including a child, were killed when a tent housing displaced people was targeted .
In a related context, local sources reported that a number of citizens were injured as a result of the occupation shelling a house in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis. The vicinity of the Shuhada al-Zaytoun clinic in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood also witnessed artillery shelling, coinciding with heavy gunfire from the occupation’s vehicles.
