On Thursday, Day 399 of the ongoing genocide, the Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the devastated, besieged, and starved Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.

The Israeli army destroyed and targeted of all hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip, rendering them out of service, in addition to targeting civil defense teams, abducting many of them and removing them from service as well, in addition to destroying infrastructure, water networks, sewage networks, road networks, and streets.

“The onslaught on northern Gaza extended beyond just physical attacks, involving crimes against humanity. The Israeli army employed tactics of starvation and dehydration against civilians by blocking 3,800 aid and goods trucks from entering northern Gaza,” the Government Media office said, “This deliberate act has left nearly 400,000 people, including over 100,000 children, without food, water, medicine, and baby formula.”

“These individuals were met with death through various means, such as fighter jets, quadcopters, snipers, field executions, tank and vehicle ramming, and planting explosive barrels,” the Media Office added, “This resulted in the destruction of homes, mosques, institutions, residential neighborhoods, and hospitals.”

The army also targeted and destroyed numerous displacement and shelter centers that housed tens of thousands of people who fled their homes in search of safety.

Furthermore, the army targeted markets filled with families, including children, leading to hundreds of casualties, while humanitarian services have been completely halted, with medical teams deprived of food, abducted, and tortured, and even the polio vaccination campaign has been blocked from entering northern Gaza.

The United Nations issued, Thursday, a stark warning about the dire situation in northern Gaza. Joyce Msuya, the acting Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, stated that the entire population of northern Gaza is at risk of dying due to the ongoing bombing and siege.

The UN has called for an immediate stop to what they describe as a “blatant disregard for basic humanity” by Israeli forces.

Msuya emphasized that the situation in Gaza is catastrophic, with severe impacts on healthcare, food, and shelter.

The UN’s humanitarian official has stressed the urgent need for a ceasefire to protect the lives of civilians trapped in the conflict.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported that the Israeli army ordered all Palestinians in northern Gaza and all parts of Gaza City to leave.
