On Thursday, Day 419 of the ongoing genocide, Israeli soldiers continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the destroyed, besieged and staved Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, largely children and women, across the coastal region.

Nine Palestinians were killed, and many injured, when Israeli soldiers fired barrages of shells at the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Medical sources reported that several women and children are among the casualties, adding that rescue teams are still searching for potential victims under the rubble.

In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, an Israeli drone fired a missile at displaced Palestinians in the Qaa’ Al-Qareen area, southeast of the city, killing three Palestinians and causing several injuries.

Also in Khan Younis, an Israeli shell struck a tent of a displaced family in Al-Mawasi area, killing two Palestinians, including one child, and wounding many.

Additionally, at least five Palestinians were killed, and many injured, when the army fired a shell at tents of displaced families in Abasan town, east of the city.

Four Palestinians, including one child, were also killed and many injured when the army fired a missile at a tent behind Abu Matar Mosque, west of Khan Younis.

Many Palestinians were killed and injured in an Israeli bombing targeting displaced families near Khirbet Al-Adas Junction, north of Rafah, in the Gaza Strip’s southernmost part.

Al-Jazeera reported that the army also wired and detonated several homes and buildings in the center of Rafah city.

In Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, several Palestinians were injured when the army fired a missile at a home.

The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Ghebreyesus, announced the evacuation of 17 patients and wounded individuals from Gaza.

In a post on the “X” platform, Ghebreyesus stated that the 17 patients were evacuated to Jordan, where 12 of them will be transferred to the United States for further treatment.

He noted that six patients require cancer treatment, while the remaining evacuees need treatment for injuries from Israeli attacks. Ghebreyesus emphasized that at least 12,000 patients and wounded individuals in Gaza urgently need evacuation for treatment.

Philippe Lazzarini, UNRWA’s Commissioner-General, stated that at least 70% of the casualties in the Gaza Strip are women and children. Lazzarini added that the ongoing military operation in northern Gaza over the past seven weeks has led to the displacement of 130,000 people.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that Israeli soldiers killed at least 48 Palestinians and injured more than 53 in bombing and shelling attacks targeting several parts of the Gaza Strip on Saturday, among them 29 in the central and southern parts of the coastal enclave. These numbers only account for those who were found and moved to medical centers.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea, and air, since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in the killing of at least 44,330 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 104,933 others.

This is an incomplete toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.
