On Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, day 438 of Israel’s ongoing assault on the entire civilian population of 2.2 million Palestinians in the Gaza prison camp, Israeli forces continued their relentless bombardment of civilian areas in Gaza.
The following attacks were documented by local reporters with the Wafa news agency and other local journalists:

A woman was killed and others were injured on Tuesday evening in an Israeli airstrike on the tents of the displaced in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that an Israeli occupation drone bombed a tent sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, killing a woman and wounding 5 citizens, including children.

Eight citizens were killed and others were injured when the Israeli occupation forces bombed a house sheltering displaced people near Kamal Adwan Hospital, north of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation warplanes bombed a house belonging to the Battah family, which sheltered displaced persons from the Al-Suwaiti and Al-Ashqar families, opposite Kamal Adwan Hospital, which led to the killing of eight citizens and the injury of at least five others.

Seven Palestinian citizens were killed and others injured on Tuesday in Israeli shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation warplanes targeted a group of citizens near Al-Tabi’in School east of Gaza City, which led to the killing of three citizens and the injury of others.
In addition, the Israeli occupation bombed a house belonging to the Abu al-Jibn family, next to Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, which led to the killing of two citizens.
Also, a citizen was killed and three others, including two children, were injured in an occupation raid that targeted Khalifa bin Zayed School in the northern Gaza Strip.
A medical source at Al-Awda Hospital said that one deceased Palestinians and 33 injured arrived at the hospital as a result of the Israeli occupation warplanes bombing a vehicle in the Al-Hasayna area, west of the Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The Israeli occupation artillery also targeted areas east of the town of Khuza’a, east of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation forces blew up, on Tuesday, buildings and residential blocks in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip.
A Wafa news correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces blew up buildings in the vicinity of the huts area, west of the Mawasi area in Rafah.
The reporter pointed out that the area is being subjected to a mass displacement by the Israeli occupation forces, who penetrated and opened heavy fire, coinciding with the demolition of residential buildings, while occupation snipers are deployed around the area.
A number of citizens were injured, some of them seriously, as a result of the occupation forces opening fire on them in the Al-Mawasi area, in addition to the arrest of a number of others.
A fire also broke out in the cafeteria of the tent camp on the beach of Rafah after it was targeted by the occupation forces that penetrated the Mawasi area of Rafah.
This incursion and demolition of buildings comes at a time when the occupation is firing intensively at citizens’ homes.
A photo taken two days ago showed the massive destruction caused by the occupation’s bombing and destruction of residential buildings in the city.
According to a report issued by human rights organizations, the initial data that was obtained from Rafah through statements from residents, satellite images, and video clips published by occupation soldiers, shows that the governorate was almost completely wiped out .
The report indicated that many neighborhoods in Khan Yunis were completely wiped out, as well as many residential blocks in the Shujaiya and Zeitoun neighborhoods in southern and eastern Gaza, as well as the area along the so-called “Netzarim Axis” from the south and north.
The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip by air, land and sea since October 7, 2023, which has led to the killing of at least 45,059 citizens and the injury of 107,041 citizens, in an incomplete toll with thousands of martyrs under the rubble.
