On Thursday, Day 713 of the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, Israeli occupation forces intensified their aerial and artillery bombardment across Gaza City and other areas of the besieged enclave, resulting in the killing of at least 50 Palestinian civilians.
For the past 24 hours, internet communications have been shut down in Gaza City, as Israeli forces have bombed non-stop in civilian areas.
The following attacks by Israeli forces against Palestinian civilians were documented by local sources on Thursday:
Two citizens were killed and others were injured, Thursday evening, in the intense and continuous bombing launched by Israeli occupation aircraft on Gaza City.
A Wafa news correspondent said that two people were killed when the Israeli occupation forces bombed a group of citizens in the Al-Nasr neighborhood in Gaza City.
Israeli forces have killed child Fayez Mohammed Ashour Daghmash in Sabra, southwest Gaza City, from injuries caused by an explosive strike from quadcopter drones:
A Palestinian citizen was killed in the bombing of an Israeli air force march on the Al-Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza City, two other citizens were killed in a series of raids on areas north of the city, and three others were killed in the bombing of a group of citizens near the port gate west of the city.

In northern Al-Shati camp today, west of Gaza City, residents have endured days of relentless Israeli occupation bombardment, airstrikes, shelling, gunfire from drones, vehicles, and naval forces.
The attacks have forced displaced families who had sought shelter there to flee once again, searching for another place they hope might be safer. Amid the devastation, Palestinian civil defense workers say they continue their efforts in the area, risking their lives to respond to calls for help and provide aid to anyone in need. Four citizens, including children, were killed and others were injured as a result of Israeli artillery shelling on the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.
A Wafa news correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation army shelled the Zarqa area in the Tuffah neighborhood with heavy artillery, killing four citizens. He added that medical and civil defense teams and residents were able to retrieve the body of a child, but were unable to reach the rest of the bodies due to the ongoing shelling.
The young man, Muhammad Saeed Al-Rifi, was also killed when Israeli occupation aircraft targeted a group of citizens near the Sanfour Junction in the aforementioned neighborhood.
In this context, Al-Quds Hospital, affiliated with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, confirmed that it received 5 injuries as a result of a Quad Captur plane dropping a bomb near the Bank of Palestine in Gaza City.
More than one million Palestinians are living in tent cities, with their homes having been destroyed by Israeli forces.
Aerial photos between September 4 and 15, 2025, showed that thousands of tents set up on empty land among the ruins of Gaza City, along the coast, and in less urbanized areas in the north, had disappeared, or their number had decreased significantly. The large camps in the Sheikh Radwan, Al-Shatea, and Al-Rimal neighborhoods have almost disappeared, reflecting the scale of the humanitarian disaster and increasing the severity of the displacement crisis. Despite the attempts of some families to return to their original homes, the severity of the attacks and the ongoing threats of invasion push the population to flee again, which makes the population stability in the region very fragile and constantly changing
The spokesperson for Gaza’s government media office, Ismail Thawabteh, stated that Israeli attacks since the start of the ground offensive on Gaza City on August 11, 2025, have caused widespread destruction of buildings and housing, forcing tens of thousands of civilians to flee.

The ongoing offensive has triggered the forced displacement of over 40,000 people in the past two days, according to UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric. Aid agencies report that entire neighborhoods have been emptied as residents flee intensified bombardment and military incursions, seeking shelter in overcrowded and increasingly unsafe areas.
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor stated that Israeli authorities have cut off all telecommunications and internet services for approximately 800,000 residents in Gaza City. Now in its second day, the blackout coincides with Israeli military advances into the city’s northwestern districts. The destruction of communication towers and infrastructure has plunged Gaza into complete isolation, obstructing emergency coordination and media coverage.
The UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights reported that at least 75 Palestinians died in Israeli detention between October 2023 and August 2025. Among the dead were 49 from Gaza, 24 from the West Bank, and two Palestinian citizens of Israel. The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) renewed its urgent appeal for a ceasefire and immediate humanitarian access. The agency stressed the need to deliver relief supplies safely and at scale, calling on all parties to allow the entry and distribution of life-saving assistance without obstruction.

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned of an imminent collapse of Gaza’s health system amid intensified military operations and mass displacement. He stated that evacuation orders and ongoing incursions in northern Gaza are driving new waves of forced displacement, leaving the injured and people with disabilities unable to reach safety. Overcrowded hospitals are on the brink of collapse, and escalating violence is obstructing access to medical care. Ghebreyesus called for an immediate end to these inhumane conditions and urged all parties to agree to a ceasefire.
Amnesty International accused 15 multinational companies of contributing—directly or indirectly—to Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza. It urged the global community to take immediate steps to halt these violations and hold corporate actors accountable for enabling military operations and systemic abuses.
