A Palestinian former prisoner, on Thursday, October 2, 2020, was shot in the eye by Israeli forces that, stormed Sebastia town, in the northern West Bank city of Nablus and opened fire at local youths, the Palestinian Information Center reported.
The sources stated that the young man was shot in the head by Israeli gunfire, without indicating his condition.
They added that the soldiers used live rounds, tear-gas and stun grenades at the local youths resisting the military invasion of their town.
Quds News Network identified the young man as Adham Shaer, a former prisoner, who was sitting at the archeological site of Sebastia, with dozens of Palestinian civilians, when Israeli soldiers stormed the area, firing tear-gas at the crowd, casuing dozens of suffocation cases.
Israeli army Jeeps then invaded the site, while shooting live and rubber-coated steel rounds at local civilians.
Adham was injured after suffering gunshot wound in the left eye.
