On Friday, Day 642 since the beginning of the genocide on October 7, 2023, and day 113 since the Israeli military violated the ceasefire agreement on March 18th (when Israel resumed its wholesale slaughter of the besieged and imprisoned Palestinian civilian population in Gaza), Israeli forces continued their violent assault on all parts of the Gaza Strip, with the main targets being the tents of displaced Palestinian families.
Israeli military strikes across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip on Friday left at least 48 Palestinians killed and many more wounded.
Bombs targeted the al-Mawasi ‘safe zone’ – bombed for the seventh day in a row, as well as Khan Younis and Gaza City.
Forced evacuations of all Palestinians in the city of Khan Younis continued for the fourth day, after Israel issued orders requiring tens of thousands of people to move to the so-called ‘safe zone’ of Al-Mawasi (where the Israeli airforce has been continuously bombing civilian tents for the past week).
The Israeli military committed numerous war crimes again on Friday (details below), bombing and shelling the starved, besieged and unarmed civilian population of 2.3 million people imprisoned inside the Gaza death camp (Israel claims to be ‘targeting Hamas militants’, but the overwhelming majority of the nearly 60,000 documented killed over the past 642 days have been non-combatants, including nearly 17,000 children).
Intense Israeli shelling on several areas in the Gaza Strip began early in the morning Friday and continued through the afternoon and into the evening — as has been the case every day in Gaza since October 7, 2023 (apart from a five-day ceasefire in late November 2023, and a 51-day ceasefire from January 25th through March 18th, 2025).
The death toll from civilians killed at the gladiator style arenas set up by the US-based Christian Zionist company ‘GHF’ on Friday reached 7. This brings the total number of bringing the total number of “livelihood” casualties who arrived at hospitals to 798 since the end of May, when ‘GHF” began its operations.
A spokesperson for the UN Human RIghts office told reporters that 615 of these civilians were killed in the vicinity of sites belonging to the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” while attempting to obtain food aid since May 27, and 183 of them were killed along aid convoy routes.
Earlier this month, 169 relief organizations demanded a halt to the US-Israeli aid distribution mechanism led by the foundation. This followed near-daily reports of civilians killed by Israeli fire while waiting for aid near its centers.
The organizations called for a return to the UN-led aid delivery mechanism in the Gaza Strip until last March, when the occupation imposed a blockade on the Strip. The mechanism gradually allowed aid into the Strip in late May, distributing it through an affiliated organization that international organizations refused to cooperate with.
The statement criticized the GHF (Gaza Humanitarian Foundation), which began managing aid in late May instead of the usual international humanitarian organizations. The list of signatories included organizations from Europe, the United States, and Israel, active in medical and food aid, development, and human rights.

Fourteen Palestinian citizens were killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting displaced people’s tents in the cities of Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis in the central and southern Gaza Strip.
Wafa news correspondents said that nine Palestinians were killed when the occupation forces bombed a tent housing displaced persons near the Kuwaiti Hospital in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Al Jazeera reports about the Israeli ground operation in Al-Mawasi, an area in the southern Gaza Strip previously declared a “safe zone,” destroying makeshift tents and bulldozing mass graves:
Five people were also killed in an attack on a car and the Al-Baraka station, which was sheltering displaced people in the Al-Baraka area, south of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.
The Wafa correspondents reported that the occupation forces targeted citizens as they were trying to retrieve the bodies of people killed from the bombing site in the Al-Baraka area.
Wafa correspondents added that the Israeli occupation forces continued to demolish residential buildings in the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Eight citizens were killed on Friday evening when Israeli warplanes bombed civilian gatherings in the northern, central, and southern Gaza Strip.
A WAFA correspondent said that two citizens from the Barbakh and Al-Mazin families were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Abu Hamid roundabout area in the center of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Three citizens were also killed when the occupation forces bombed a group of citizens on Al-Zahour Street in the middle of Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Three citizens were killed when the Israeli occupation bombed a house on Old Court Street in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
This brings the death toll in the Gaza Strip since dawn on Friday to 34, including 10 aid recipients.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed a new massacre against civilians in the Gaza Strip on Friday evening, killing and wounding dozens.
A Wafa news correspondent reported that the occupation forces bombed a gathering of civilians near Al-Hurriya School in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, with drones, killing five citizens and wounding dozens.
Victims of the attack:
A number of civilians were killed and others injured in an Israeli bombardment targeting a gathering of civilians and children east of Shawa Square on Salah al-Din Road, east of Gaza City.
A Wafa news correspondent confirmed that at least two killed Palestinians arrived at the Baptist Hospital after the occupation forces bombed two residential buildings, Abu Ras and Al-Sawafiri, in the vicinity of Al-Shamaa Mosque on Jaffa Street in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
A girl was also killed in an artillery attack on the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, while a child, Obada Yousef Al-Amur, died from wounds he sustained in the bombing of his family’s tent near Well 19 in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip a few days ago.
Mosab Abu Toha reports: During Israel’s raid on areas west of Khan Younis, soldiers and tanks not only destroyed people’s tents—they also desecrated a cemetery, destroying much of it opening graves. There are reports that some corpses were removed and taken by the israeli forces.

The Israeli occupation army (IOF) has renewed its warning to evacuate areas in Gaza City, north of the Gaza Strip, as it continues its genocidal war and forced displacement plans .
A Wafa news correspondent reported that the occupation army warned citizens, specifically in the Tal al-Hawa area and parts of the southern al-Rimal neighborhood, to evacuate them, where hundreds of thousands of displaced people are located.
He pointed out that citizens and displaced persons in these areas and blocks are crowded and inhabited, and they do not know where to go.
Citizens were quoted as saying they would not leave the area because there was nowhere left for them to flee to, and because the bombardment would reach them regardless of whether they fled or not, as there was no safe place to be. They emphasized that the aforementioned areas contained schools and were full of displaced people.

Three citizens were killed on Friday in Khan Younis and Gaza by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire and shelling, including two women, one of whom succumbed to wounds she sustained a few days ago.
A Wafa news correspondent reported that a citizen was killed as a result of an Israeli drone bombing the vicinity of Salah al-Din Mosque in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
A woman was also killed and her husband was abducted in the Qizan Abu Rashwan area, south of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, a woman died of her injuries from the bombing of a tent a few days ago in the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city, and joined her husband and daughter in death.

Ten Palestinians were killed and more than 60 others injured on Friday when the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on people waiting for aid in the Al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
A Wafa news correspondent reported that health centers have appealed to citizens to donate blood due to the large number of infections.
Five other civilians were injured when an Israeli drone dropped bombs near Al-Nazla roundabout in the northern Gaza Strip.

Two citizens were killed and others were injured on Friday in Israeli shelling of Khan Yunis city, south of the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that two citizens were killed as a result of the occupation forces’ shelling of the Al-Satar area, northwest of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Israeli warships also fired shells into the sea of Gaza City.
Sources indicated that a number of citizens were injured as a result of the occupation’s artillery shelling of the Saftawi neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City. Citizens were also injured when an occupation quadcopter dropped bombs on a group of residents in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of the city.
Local sources said that the occupation forces carried out demolitions and bombings of citizens’ homes in several neighborhoods in Gaza City.
In a related development, Doctors Without Borders said that as Israel expanded its incursion west of Khan Yunis, displaced people were squeezed into a smaller area closer to the sea . Its teams were forced to evacuate the Attar clinic, while the Israeli incursion halted ambulance traffic to Nasser Hospital.
