The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported new fatalities and injuries over the past 48 hours as the humanitarian toll of the genocide in the devastated coastal enclave continues to climb.

Hospitals across the Gaza Strip received additional victims, while many others remain trapped under collapsed buildings and in areas rescue teams are still unable to reach.

Hospitals received three Palestinians killed in the past 48 hours—one newly killed and two recovered from under the rubble—along with ten injured.

Medical and civil defense crews continue to face severe obstacles in reaching numerous victims who remain beneath destroyed structures or in inaccessible streets.

Since the declared “ceasefire” on 11 October, the ministry has documented 415 Palestinians killed, 1,152 injured, and 682 bodies recovered from under the rubble.

These figures reflect only those who reached medical facilities, while the true toll is believed to be higher due to the inability to access many affected areas.

The ministry also confirmed the deaths of a man and a four‑year‑old girl after a building collapsed during the ongoing winter storm.

Their deaths raise the number of Palestinians whose bodies have reached hospitals due to weather‑related building collapses to 19.

The cumulative toll since the beginning of the genocide on October 7,  2023, has now reached at least 71,269 Palestinians killed and 171,232 injured, marking one of the deadliest periods recorded in the Gaza Strip.
