Medical sources announced Thursday that four Palestinians have died in the past 24 hours due to severe malnutrition and famine in the besieged Gaza Strip, bringing the total number of victims of starvation and malnutrition to 239, including 106 children.
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen under a prolonged blockade and acute shortages of food and medical supplies.
The famine is unfolding alongside a campaign of genocide waged by Israeli occupation forces since October 7, 2023.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) previously warned that malnutrition among children under five has doubled between March and June due to the ongoing blockade.
The World Health Organization also confirmed that malnutrition rates in Gaza have reached alarming levels, stating that the deliberate siege and obstruction of aid have led to widespread loss of life. Nearly one in five children under five in Gaza City is suffering from acute malnutrition.

Over the past 24 hours, Israeli forces killed 54 Palestinians and wounded 831, while the death toll and injuries since March 18, when the Israeli occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, has reached 10,251 killed and 42,865 wounded.
