A Palestinian man died on Wednesday in the Gaza Strip from wounds sustained in an Israeli airstrike on Deir al‑Balah in the central Gaza Strip three days earlier, as Israeli violations continue despite the declared ceasefire.

Medical sources confirmed the death of Abdullah Abu Mustafa, who succumbed to injuries he sustained when Israeli forces struck a civilian vehicle on Salahuddin Street near al‑Mazra‘a School in Deir al‑Balah.

Earlier on Wednesday morning, another Palestinian was shot and wounded by Israeli forces west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

According to the daily update issued by Gaza’s Ministry of Health, hospitals received three Palestinians killed in the past 24 hours—one recovered from under the rubble and two who died of their wounds—along with five injured.

Emergency crews continue to report that many victims remain trapped beneath collapsed buildings and in areas that remain inaccessible due to the destruction and the inability of civil defense teams to reach them.

Since the “ceasefire” announced on October 11, 2025, the Ministry of Health has documented 981 Palestinians killed and 3,104 injured, including 783 bodies recovered from destroyed neighborhoods during that period.

The cumulative toll since the beginning of the genocide on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,991 Palestinians killed and 173,212 injured. The Health Ministry stated that the real toll is higher due to the large number of missing persons who remain under the rubble.
