Gaza – 27 December 2025: The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has released updated casualty figures from the ongoing Israeli violations in the devastated coastal region, reporting new deaths and injuries as rescue teams continue to face major obstacles reaching affected areas.
It said that 29 bodies were brought to Gaza hospitals over the past 48 hours, including 4 newly documented deaths and 25 bodies recovered from destroyed buildings. Medical teams also recorded 8 injuries during the same period.

Emergency crews remain unable to access several sites where additional victims are believed to be trapped under rubble or lying in open areas, due to ongoing risks and severe damage to infrastructure.
Casualties Since the “Ceasefire” Announcement on 11 October:
- Total deaths: 414
- Total injuries: 1,142
- Bodies recovered: 679
Cumulative Toll Since 7 October 2023:
- Total deaths: 71,266
- Total injuries: 171,219
The ministry added that 292 additional deaths were recently incorporated into the cumulative total after their records were completed and verified by the official accreditation committee between 19 and 26 December 2025.
The ministry warned that the toll is expected to rise as access to isolated areas improves.
