Hundreds of Israeli colonizers invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, on Tuesday, under the protection of occupation police.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Jerusalem (Silwanic) reported that 537 illegal Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday, including 343 in the morning and 194 in the afternoon.

The Islamic Endowments Department reported that hundreds of illegal settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and performed Talmudic rituals in front of the Dome of the Rock.

According to eyewitnesses, hundreds of colonizers invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound from the Al-Mughrabi Gate, accompanied by Israeli police, and performed provocative tours and Talmudic rituals.


In related news, the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs released its September report on Israeli violations against Islamic holy sites in the occupied West Bank.

The Ministry reported that Israeli occupation authorities expropriated the courtyard of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and prevented the call to prayer 92 times in the month of September, while allowing illegal settlers to raise Israeli flags and storm the Islamic holy site.


The statement added that Israeli colonizers carried out 26 incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, under the protection of Israeli police, while authorities restricted and obstructed entry to Palestinian Muslims.


Additionally, the report stated that the occupation army besieged Palestinian worshippers in the Mansour Mosque during the Friday prayer, and abducted a number of them in Azzun town, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

In the northern West Bank city of Nablus, the army invaded the Hanbali Mosque in the Old City after removing its locks, according to the Ministry, and demolished the minaret of the Al-Farouq/Al-Hijri Mosque in Doura town, southwest of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.
