In parallel, Israeli forces erected multiple military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron’s city, towns, villages, and camps, and closed several main and secondary roads with iron gates, cement blocks, and earth mounds.

In addition, Israeli occupation forces abducted a Palestinian man after illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked his family’s home in Masafer Yatta.

Media activist Osama Makhamra said that a group of colonizers assaulted the home of Farid al‑Hamamda in the Fateh Sidra area of Masafer Yatta, attacking residents and international activists who were present in the area. Israeli forces then arrived to protect the colonizers and abducted Khaled Ahmad al‑Hamamda.

Colonizers also prevented farmers and landowners from working and plowing their fields in the Wadi al‑Jheish area, in an attempt to seize control of the land.

Bethlehem

Before dawn Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces invaded the Khalawi family area adjacent to the village of Wadi Rahal, south of Bethlehem, and raided a home.

Hamada Ziyada, an activist with the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission , stated that soldiers fired live rounds into the air during the invasion, set up a military roadblock at the entrance to Khallet al‑Nahla, and prevented residents from reaching Wadi Rahal. He added that troops searched the home of Riyad Khalawi without reporting any abductions.

In addition, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers on Tuesday caused the death of five sheep in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem.

Locals said the colonizers sprayed toxic pesticides on Palestinian‑owned land in the northern area of the village, leading to the death of the five sheep after they grazed on contaminated grass and plants. The livestock belonged to resident Hassan Youssef Obeyyat.

Jerusalem
