On Sunday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, shot two Palestinians, including a child, and abducted a young man.
Media sources reported that several army vehicles invaded the town, closing streets and sparking protests.
The sources added that the soldiers fired live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades, wounding a 22-year-old Palestinian and a 17-year-old child with lives rounds in their lower extremities.
During the invasion, the soldiers abducted a young man from his home and took him to an unknown destination.
The army also set up roadblocks across various parts of the Nablus governorate, stopping and searching dozens of vehicles while interrogating Palestinians and inspecting their ID cards.
In related news, the soldiers detained a Palestinian father, Tareq Rib’ey, and his son, Hasan, at a military roadblock in the Jaber neighborhood of the Old City in Hebron, located in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Later that night, the army invaded Silwad town, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and Shoqba village, west of the city, driving through various neighborhoods before eventually withdrawing.
