Earlier Friday, Israeli soldiers killed six Palestinians, including one child, and injured six others, among them one who suffered serious wounds, in the Al-Far’a refugee camp south of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers fatally shot Maher Abdullah Ahmad Jawabra, 14, Emad Nihad Khaled Jawabra, 18, Omar Bassem Mahmoud Sobeh, 23, Qassem Mohammad Mustafa Daraghma, 33, Tha’er Abdullah Shahin, 36, and Bara’ Mousa Al-Amir, 30.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics transferred the six slain Palestinians and the six wounded Palestinians, including one who suffered profoundly serious wounds, to hospitals in Tubas.
The PRCS added that the soldiers also attacked and stopped Palestinian ambulances trying to reach wounded Palestinians.
The invasion began when undercover soldiers infiltrated the refugee camp, broke into homes, and occupied rooftops to use as sniper posts before many army vehicles advanced into the area, leading to protests.
The soldiers fired dozens of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades, killing the six Palestinians with live fire and causing many injuries.
During the invasion, the soldiers abducted Moath Issa Ghazlawi and Omar Mohammad Abdul-Jawad.
Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers have killed at least 262 Palestinians, and injured more than 3250, in the occupied West Bank, since October 7.
The Health Ministry stated that Israeli missiles and shells have killed 17.000 Palestinians and injured at least 45.000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, in the Gaza Strip since October 7. Thousands of Palestinians remain missing, mostly buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings.
