Israeli forces carried out multiple invasions, abductions, and movement restrictions across the occupied West Bank on Monday, including widespread military activity in Ramallah in the central West Bank, Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Jenin in the northern West Bank, and Nablus in the northern West Bank.
In Ramallah, Israeli forces invaded the village of al‑Mughayyir northeast of the city and abducted three young men. Local sources identified them as Mohammad and his brother Omar Shahada Ka’abna, along with Mohammad Khamis Abu ‘Alia.
The sources added that an Israeli military vehicle chased a car driven by Mo’ath Rasmi Abu ‘Alia, causing a crash before soldiers detained him.
Israeli forces also fired tear gas at homes in the village, though no injuries were reported, and obstructed the movement of residents at the western entrance.
In Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Nahalin west of the city and deployed in the Sabeeha, al‑Mahjar, and town center areas.
Soldiers broke into homes belonging to Mohammad Najajra, Ahmad Shakarna, Jamal Najajra, Mousa Ghiyatha, and Khader Abu Mustafa, searching the properties without reporting abductions.
Troops fired concussion grenades and tear gas and installed military roadblocks inside the town, disrupting civilian movement. Local sources noted that this marked the second consecutive day of invasions and violent searches of property in Nahalin.
Israeli forces also tightened their siege on Bethlehem for the third consecutive day. The complete closure of several key access points, including the southern and eastern entrances to al‑Khader (al‑Nashash), the al‑Manashir area, the housing complexes, al‑Seder, the Arab Society area in Beit Jala, al‑Manshiya, Marah Rabah, the only entrance to the village of al‑Rashayda, and the entrance to al‑Shawawra to the east.
In Jenin in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces installed a military roadblock on the Jenin–Nablus road near the entrances to Ajjah and Jaba’, stopping vehicles and inspecting residents’ identification cards.
Heavy machinery continued work on a road beneath the Tarsalla site between Jaba’ and Ajjah after the Israeli government approved the return of illegal Israeli colonizers to the area.
Israeli forces also carried out extensive invasions across several towns in Jenin Governorate. In the town of Ya’bad south of Jenin, soldiers broke into homes, destroyed property, detained several young men, and assaulted them before withdrawing, only to invade the town again hours later.
In Qabatia, south of Jenin, Israeli forces invaded at dawn, spread through residential areas, and broke into and damaged multiple homes. Infantry units also invaded the Khallet al‑Soha area of Jenin city.
In the town of Fuqua east of Jenin, soldiers broke into homes, forced families out, and converted the properties into military posts for what residents were told would be a month.
In Arraba south of Jenin, Israeli forces forced residents out of nine homes and turned them into military posts, barring families from returning for a full month.
In Nablus in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted a young man, Mohammad Amjad al‑Hindi, during an invasion of the village of al‑Lubban ash‑Sharqiya south of the city, after storming his home and ransacking it.
In a separate incident, a young man was shot, and two others were beaten during an Israeli invasion of the Old Askar refugee camp east of Nablus.
Medical sources said an 18‑year‑old was shot in the thigh and transferred to hospital, while two others were assaulted, including journalist Mahmoud Fawzi, who was detained.
Israeli forces continued to invade the refugee camp throughout the morning, breaking into multiple homes, searching them, and conducting field interrogations after detaining residents for hours.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) stated that Israeli forces abducted 44 Palestinians, including nine children, one young woman, and several former detainees, from various West Bank governorates Monday.
The PPS added that the abductions occurred during coordinated invasions of multiple cities, towns, and refugee camps, where soldiers broke into homes, conducted searches, and converted several locations into sites for field interrogations.
