Israeli forces carried out a new wave of ceasefire violations across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, targeting displacement shelters, residential areas, and civilian gathering points with artillery, drone strikes, and tank fire. The attacks caused injuries in several areas and resulted in the killing of a 17‑year‑old boy in northern Gaza.
Health authorities reported dozens of additional casualties over the past forty‑eight hours and a soaring overall death toll since the start of the Israeli assault.
From the early hours of dawn, Israeli units struck multiple locations across the Strip, marking the 185th consecutive day of ceasefire breaches.
Artillery fire and drone attacks hit neighborhoods in northern and southern Gaza, including eastern Khan Younis, eastern Gaza City, and the outskirts of Jabalia.
Residents reported powerful explosions as Israeli forces detonated homes east of Gaza City, with smoke rising over nearby districts amid continuous shelling.
Medical sources confirmed the killing of Ali Husam Abu Taleb, 17, after Israeli forces opened fire in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
They added that four Palestinians were also shot near the so‑called yellow line north of the Strip, but their fate remains unknown as Israeli fire prevented ambulances and residents from reaching them.
In central Gaza, a drone strike involving two missiles targeted a tent in the al‑Masha‘la area of Deir al‑Balah, leaving a civilian with severe injuries.

Israeli tanks simultaneously opened heavy fire east of Jabalia and in the eastern neighborhoods of Khan Younis, where families displaced from earlier attacks were forced to flee once again.
Artillery bombardment continued throughout the day in the eastern areas of Gaza City, with witnesses describing the shelling as intense and indiscriminate, hitting zones where displaced people had gathered.
Al‑Jazeera correspondents confirmed continued Israeli fire in the eastern areas of Khan Younis and Jabalia throughout Sunday, noting that the attacks struck zones where displaced families had recently gathered. Journalists and medical teams continue to operate under extreme danger, often unable to reach targeted areas due to ongoing shelling and sniper fire.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that, over the past forty‑eight hours, hospitals received eleven slain Palestinians and twenty‑six wounded from various parts of the Strip, reflecting the ongoing toll of daily violations despite the declared ceasefire.
Since the “ceasefire” took effect on October 11, 2025, the total slain Palestinians has reached 749, in addition to 2,082 wounded, while civil defense and rescue teams have recovered 759 bodies from under the rubble of destroyed buildings.

Since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza October 7, 2023, the cumulative number of slain Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,328, with 172,184 wounded. These figures underscore the scale of destruction and loss of life that continues even under what is nominally a ceasefire.
Humanitarian conditions continue to deteriorate sharply as Israel tightens restrictions on the entry of aid.
Local authorities accuse Israel of implementing a policy of “engineered starvation” by controlling the flow of goods and refusing to allow the six hundred daily aid trucks stipulated by humanitarian protocols.
The severe shortage of food, medicine, fuel, and basic supplies has pushed hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians to the brink of famine and disease.

UN agencies, including UNRWA, warn that bombardment, gunfire, and home demolitions continue across Gaza despite the ceasefire, and that overcrowded shelters are witnessing a rapid spread of infectious diseases such as scabies and skin infections, alongside rodent infestations.
With essential supplies and medical materials restricted, and international staff largely barred from entering the Strip, UN officials say Gaza is facing the collapse of basic services and a deepening humanitarian catastrophe.
Sunday’s violations form part of a sustained pattern of Israeli military actions that have continued unabated despite the ceasefire announcement. The ongoing bombardment, the rising number of slain and wounded residents, and the deliberate tightening of the siege have pushed Gaza deeper into what Palestinian and international organizations describe as an engineered humanitarian disaster.
