Israeli forces committed multiple violations of the October 11, 2025, “ceasefire” agreement on Thursday, killing a 13‑year‑old boy and another Palestinian, and injuring several others, during heavy gunfire and artillery attacks across several areas of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources said Israeli military vehicles opened fire on civilians near the Abbas Kilani roundabout in northern Beit Lahia, killing the child and another citizen, and wounding others.
In addition, medical teams began evacuating Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza after Israeli forces directly targeted the facility with live fire. The evacuation took place amid continued attacks around the hospital, endangering patients and medical staff and obstructing the delivery of health services.
Israeli military bulldozers also leveled several previously bombarded and destroyed homes in Beit Lahia, while soldiers fired rounds of live ammunition throughout the area.
Israeli tanks also invaded the area near Ar‑Ribat Mosque in Beit Lahia refugee camp, firing intensively toward displaced Palestinians inside Khalifa School.
Civil Defense also reported that Israeli tanks unleashed heavy fire toward the cemetery area west of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, striking tents sheltering displaced families.
Israeli helicopters also opened fire east of Khan Younis before renewing the attack minutes later.
In Gaza City, Israeli artillery targeted eastern neighborhoods, while military vehicles fired continuously east of Da’wa neighborhood, northeast of Nuseirat Refugee Camp in central Gaza. Artillery also struck areas northeast of Al‑Bureij Refugee Camp, and tanks again targeted tents near the cemetery west of Khan Younis.
A medical source confirmed that a civilian was shot east of Hamad City, northwest of Khan Younis. The area has been under constant heavy fire from Israeli vehicles positioned along the so‑called “yellow line”.
These violations come despite U.S. President Donald Trump’s July 31, 2026, announcement of a “new agreement” intended to initiate the second phase of the Gaza “roadmap.”
Since the “ceasefire” took effect on October 11, 2025, Israeli forces have continued daily violations alongside the ongoing siege and tightened restrictions on Gaza’s population, deepening the suffering of civilians and displaced families and prolonging instability despite the declared “end of the war.”
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health’s September 2, 2026, report, 1,334 Palestinians have been killed and 4,429 wounded since the ceasefire took effect, while 815 bodies have been recovered from destroyed areas during this period.
The Ministry added that the cumulative death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,470 Palestinians, while the number of wounded has reached 174,540.
