On Friday, the Israeli occupation army issued new “evacuation orders” to Palestinian families in northern Gaza, demanding their immediate relocation to the southern part of the devastated coastal region.
These orders targeted areas such as Al-Salatin, Al-Karama, and Al-Awda, accompanied by threats of bombing those locations.
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz declared that he has instructed the forces to occupy new areas in Gaza, forcibly removing Palestinians and expanding what he called “buffer zones” around these regions under the pretext of “protecting Israeli residential communities.”
Katz further threatened to seize more land in Gaza and intensify military onslaught until the release of all Israeli captives.
Since last Tuesday, Israel has resumed its genocidal campaign in Gaza, resulting in around 600 fatalities and over 1,000 injuries by Thursday evening, 70% of whom were children, women, and elderly individuals.
Israel expanded its offensive through a ground assault in the Al-Shuhada Junction area, stretching to Salahuddin Street, which connects the northern and southern regions of Gaza. This aggression also targeted the Shaboura refugee camp in Rafah, in southern Gaza and northwest Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.
In related news, the Acting Director of UNRWA Affairs in Gaza, Sam Rose, highlighted that no aid has entered the Gaza Strip since the beginning of this month, March 2025, marking the longest such period since October 2023.
Israeli occupation forces advanced on Friday morning into the western areas of Beit Lahia city, north of the Gaza Strip, amidst gunfire and artillery shelling of the area. The city of Beit Lahia is almost completely rubble after sixteen straight months of Israeli bombardment.
But after breaking the ceasefire agreement three days ago, Israeli forces returned to their relentless bombardment and now ground invasion to continue their stated objective of ethnically cleansing Gaza of its 2.4 million Palestinian residents.
Since Tuesday’s Israeli resumption of Gaza bombing, the Israeli strikes have killed over 600 lives and injured over a thousand individuals, 70% of whom are children, women, or the elderly.
The number of slain Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has surpassed 49,547, including more than 17,881 children and 12,298 women.
