Israeli occupation forces issued a demolition order for a school in the southern part of Hebron in the West Bank’s southern part, on Monday.

Media sources reported that Israeli forces ordered the demolition of Palestine Elementary Mixed School in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Masafer Yatta, as well as surrounding areas, are subject to constant Israeli violations, including demolitions, in addition to repeated attacks by the Israeli paramilitary colonizers.

The Palestinian Ministry of Education document the Israeli violations against education in Gaza and the West Bank, from October 7, 2023, to February 11, 2025, and revealed that:

In Gaza, more than 12,467 students were killed, and 20,311 others were injured, while in the West Bank, 91 students were killed, 563 were injured, and 313 were abducted.

In Gaza, 569 educational staff were killed and 2,703 were injured, while in the West Bank, 3 were killed, 18 were injured, and more than 157 were abducted.

In Gaza, 111 schools were destroyed, 241 were heavily damaged, and 85 were bombed and vandalized.

Additionally, 89 UNRWA schools were vandalized. In the West Bank, 117 schools were vandalized during the same period.

Regarding higher education institutions, 20 were severely damaged, 51 buildings were destroyed, and 57 buildings were partially destroyed in Gaza. In the West Bank, seven universities and colleges were repeatedly raided and vandalized during the same period.
