Israeli forces carried out sweeping invasions across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank overnight and into Tuesday morning, abducting dozens of Palestinians in coordinated attacks, including by illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers, that struck Nablus, Jenin, Qalqilia, Bethlehem, occupied Jerusalem, and Hebron.
The largest campaign occurred in the Nablus governorate, where 22 Palestinians were seized during simultaneous incursions into the city and surrounding towns and villages.
Israeli forces advanced into Nablus city from the Beit Furik military roadblock in the east and the Deir Sharaf military roadblock in the west before storming homes in Khallet al‑Eman, al‑Ein refugee camp, and Asira Street. Soldiers then abducted Mansour al‑Hajj Hamad and Atta Haidar ‘Anabtawi after searching their residences.
In Beit Dajan, east of the city, troops invaded several homes, ransacked their contents, and abducted journalist Mohammad Radwan Abu Thabet, Mohammad Basem Abu Jabara, and Ward Amer Abu Jish.
In nearby Deir al‑Hatab, soldiers stormed the home of Nawwar Monadel Masha‘ti and abducted him after searching the property.
A large military force also invaded al‑Lubban al‑Sharqiya, south of Nablus, where soldiers conducted widespread searches and abducted six residents: Raja ‘Oweis, Jihad Faisal ‘Oweis, Abdul‑Jabber ‘Oweis and his son Amr, Mahmoud Najm ‘Oweis, and Birzeit University student Ahmad ‘Abdul‑Nasser Nubani.
In Qusra, south of the city, Israeli forces stormed multiple homes and abducted eight Palestinians, including former political prisoners.
The abductees were identified as Abdul‑Basset Hasan, Mohammad Tha’er Hasan, Abdullah Abu Yousef, Wasim Abdullah, Amin Abdul‑Athim Wadi, Mohammad Ibrahim Fayez, Abdullah al‑Hajj Ali, and Mus’ab Abdullah.
In Huwwara, also south of Nablus, soldiers broke into several homes and abducted Nafeth Ahmad Mahmoud ‘Odah along with his two sons, Mon’em and Mahmoud, after searching and ransacking their property.
In a related incident, illegal Israeli colonizers attacked a main powerline near Douma village, southeast of Nablus, in an attempt to cause a blackout in surrounding communities.
In Jenin, undercover Israeli soldiers infiltrated the Sweitat neighborhood before surrounding a home and abducting a young man from inside.
Also in Jenin, several military vehicles invaded Barta’a, west of the city, accompanied by trucks carrying bulldozers in preparation for demolishing Palestinian homes and structures.
In Azzun, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank, soldiers stormed and ransacked homes before abducting Naji Mofid Radwan, Sanad Thieb Hussein, Mohammad Fahmi Khatib, Abdul‑Rahman Mazen Ayyoub, Mohammad Musleh Adwan, Ali Mahmoud Radwan, and Walid Sa’id Salama. During the invasion, soldiers photographed streets, homes, and buildings throughout the town.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces invaded the Jabal Hindaza area east of the city, storming and searching the home of Raked Abu Dayya.
Additional military invasions were reported in Bethlehem city, Beit Jala, Doha, al‑Khader, and the villages of Harmala, Rafida, and Artas.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli colonizers invaded the outskirts of Mikhmas, attempting to burn a barn and steal sheep before residents confronted them, sparking protests until the colonizers fled.
In Silwan, south of the Al‑Aqsa Mosque, Israeli forces summoned former political prisoner Mohammad Abu al‑Hamam and handed him an order barring him from entering the mosque for one week, renewable without a court decision.
Several military vehicles also invaded al‑Isawiya and blocked streets and intersections. In Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem, soldiers imposed a tight siege on the Dahia junction area.
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, soldiers invaded Khirbet Imnizil in Masafer Yatta, stormed homes, and abducted Mahmoud Ali Rashid.
In a separate incident, Israeli colonizers stole a vehicle belonging to Ayyoub Mohammad Abu Obeid in Khallet al‑Hummus, south of Yatta. Soldiers also invaded Sa’ir town, north of Hebron, closed streets, and initiated searches.
Also in Hebron, Israeli soldiers abducted an elderly man, Mohammad Yousef Faqeeh, after he tried to stop Israeli colonizers who invaded his land with their cows to graze on his crops.
