Israeli occupation forces abducted, on Monday, fifteen Palestinians in various parts of the West Bank, injured dozens, and closed several entrances to towns in the vicinity of Jenin and Hebron, local sources reported.

In the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces abducted, on Monday, former prisoner, Yahya Sadiq al-Qarout, 24, and Yahya Mahmoud Saber Mukhaimer, 40, from the city of Tulkarem.

On Monday afternoon, occupation forces invaded a number of towns and villages, and set up flying military roadblocks, in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths, and obstructing movement of citizens.

Soldiers stormed the villages of Al-Jalamah, to the north, Jalboun and Beit Qad to the east, in addition to Tura al Gharbiya and Khirbet al-Turm villages, west of the city.

Meanwhile, the army escalated its presence in Ya’bad town to the west, Arraba, southwest of the city, and along the Jenin-Nablus street, while at the entrance to Jaba’ village, southwest of Jenin, Palestinians resisted the invasion of the occupation forces. No injuries were reported.

Southeast of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces injured, on Sunday evening, dozens of Palestinian young men who sustained inhalation injuries, after soldiers fired live rounds and tear gas canisters at them.

On Monday afternoon, Israeli forces abducted Ahmed Huwail, a citizen of the Jenin refugee camp, while he was passing through the “Hamra” military roadblock, north of Jericho, in the northern Jordan Valley.

North of occupied East Jerusalem, the army broke into and searched the homes of Ismail Safi and Yunis Abu Sharif, in the Kafr Aqab neighborhood, before abducting them. It was added that soldiers assaulted Ismail Safi and ransacked his family home.

Meanwhile, in the Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank, the occupation army abducted two brothers, Khalil Qassem Al-Sheikh, 45, and Mahdi Al-Sheikh, 25, in addition to Anwar Ahmed Al-Sheikh, 45, Ahmed Ali Al-Sheikh, 26, and Murad Mahmoud Al-Sheikh, 25, after invading and searching their homes in Marah Rabah village, south of the city.

In the town of Beit Fajjar, southwest of Bethlehem, soldiers stormed the home of Iyad Muhammad Taqatqa, 27, before abducting him,

Furthermore, the army invaded and searched the homes of Ahmad Bassam Muhammad Ashour al-Ju’bah, 21, Ziyad Abu Aisha, and Wael Abd Rabbo al-Rajabi, in Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, before abducting them.

It is important mention that occupation forces set up roadblocks in nearby towns, and closed all entrances to the city of Hebron today, and intensified their inspection procedures.

This comes after an an unidentified assailant opened fire at a settler’s vehicle, south of the city, killing one and seriously injuring another.

On Monday afternoon, occupation soldiers forcibly removed Ayman Tamim al-Absi from his vehicle, assaulted him and abducted him, in Halhul city, north of Hebron.
