On Wednesday morning, Israeli forces abducted five Palestinians, including three children and a young man in occupied Jerusalem, and a young man near Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces abducted an unidentified child from the Bab Al-Amoud (Damascus Gate), while a young man and two more children were abducted from Silwan town, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
One of the children abducted from the town of Silwan was identified as Muhammad Munir Abu Diab, from the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood.
On Wednesday night, the army abducted a Palestinian young man when he tried to pass through the Hamra military roadblock in the northern Jordan Valley.
According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society in Tubas, the army abducted Darwish Ahmed Shafi’i, 18, a resident of the Al-Fara’a camp, southwest of Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
Earlier it was reported that Israeli soldiers abducted eight Palestinians in Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the West Bank, and one near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
Meanwhile, the army also abducted a young man in Ethna town, near the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
