On Thursday, Israeli forces abducted sixteen Palestinian citizens near Ramallah, and occupied Jerusalem in the central West Bank, including two women and two children.
In the central occupied West Bank, Israeli forces invaded, at dawn Thursday, the towns of Beit Rima and Deir Ghassana, northwest of Ramallah, and abducted several Palestinians, including a woman.
Soldiers invaded the towns, breaking into and ransacking many homes, and abducted Mahmoud Emil Al-Rimawi, Mahmoud Imad Al-Rimawi, Ali Thalji Al-Rimawi, Yahya Hassan Al-Rimawi, Adam Anas Al-Rimawi, Anas Hamouda Al-Barghouthi, Ahmed Saed Al-Rimawi, the woman, Fadia Al-Barghouthi, Abdullah Al-Barghouthi, and Mourid Najah Al-Barghouthi.
It was added that the army stormed the city of Ramallah and the Umm Al-Sharayet neighborhood in the city of Al-Biereh, leading to protests during which local Palestinian youths threw rocks at the invading army, while soldiers fired tear gas canisters.
In the afternoon, undercover Israeli agents (Musta’ribeen), kidnapped two Palestinian university students in front of the Birzeit University, north of Ramallah.
Media sources said that the undercover agents kidnapped the Student Council President, Saleh Majed Hassan and the student, Amr Zaloum.
Israeli forces abducted, on Thursday morning, two Palestinian children in Al-‘Isawiya town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
After storming the town, Israeli soldiers assaulted and abducted the two children, Amir Majdi Mustafa and Marwan Haitham Mustafa.
At the Lion’s Gate (Bab al-Asbat), one of the main gates to the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces restricted Muslim worshipers from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque, assaulted worshipers, including women, and abducted an unidentified Palestinian female.
It was also mentioned that occupation forces abducted the young man, Jihad Nasser Qaws in the Old City.
According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society, as of Thursday, the Israeli forces have abducted at least 7,170 Palestinian citizens from the occupied West Bank since the beginning of its military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
