Before dawn Monday, Israeli forces invaded the town of Burqa, northwest of Nablus in the northern West Bank, stormed and ransacked many homes, and assaulted a Palestinian woman.

Israeli occupation forces invaded, in the predawn hours of Monday, the town of Burqa, northwest of Nablus in the northern West Bank, accompanied by a military bulldozer.

Besieging the town, the army closed all its entrances, prevented citizens from entering or leaving, and imposed a curfew for several hours.

Soldiers invaded and ransacked several citizens’ homes, causing damage, in addition to occupying several houses, using them as military barracks, and raising the flag of the occupation.

Many Palestinian citizens were detained and interrogated, and videos have been published of soldiers abducting citizens, however there have been no official reports, as the invasion was still ongoing at the time of this report.


It was added that Israeli soldiers patrolled the streets and alleys of the town, fired concussion grenades towards citizens’ homes, and attached leaflets on the walls of homes threatening to do to their town as they did in Gaza.


According to Ahmad Jibril, the director of the Ambulance and Emergency Center at the Red Crescent in Nablus, ambulance crews transported a 43-year-old woman to hospital, on Monday evening, after Israeli soldiers assaulted her.

In related news, Israeli forces invaded, before dawn Monday, the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, accompanied by a military bulldozer, Palestine TV reported.


Armed Palestinian resistance fighters engaged in confrontations with the attacking army, and detonated crude explosive devices, before the army withdrew.
