On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers detonated a Palestinian home in Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Many Israeli military vehicles, including units of the Army Corps of Engineers, invaded Hebron late at night before surrounding and isolating the area around a home for the Al-Ja’bari family.

The soldiers forced dozens of families, including children and elders, in the area out of their homes and left them in the cold for several hours while wiring the family home of Mohammad Kamel Al-Ja’bari, 35, who the soldiers killed on October 09, 2022.

Hours into the invasion, the soldiers wired the home and detonated it in an illegal act of collective punishment that violates International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and various human rights treaties.

Mohammad was killed in a shooting attack that also resulted in the death of an Israeli colonizer, identified as Ronen Hananya, 50, near the Kiryat Arba illegal colony in Hebron city.
