On Monday evening, the Israeli army continued its military offensive in Tulkarem, Tulkarem refugee camp and Nur Shams refugee camp, intensifying its presence with reinforcements in several key neighborhoods. The escalation included forced displacement of families and significant property damage.

Israeli soldiers deployed additional infantry units to the city from the “Nitzanei Oz” military roadblock, located west of Tulkarem.

The soldiers patrolled the main streets and stationed themselves at Shweika roundabout in the northern neighborhood, Ertah suburb in the south, the eastern neighborhood, and the housing street near Nur Shams refugee camp.

The soldiers searched civilian vehicles, interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards, obstructed movement, and threw concussion grenades at residents.

In Nur Shams refugee camp, Israeli bulldozers entered the area again, accompanied by heavy gunfire in the Jabal Al-Nasr neighborhood. Additional military vehicles also invaded the Al-Manshiyya neighborhood, and a fuel tanker was seen entering the camp.

For the third consecutive day, the Israeli army forcibly displaced the remaining families in the Qaqoun neighborhood of Tulkarem refugee camp.

Families, including those of Yousef Abu Arab and Ziad Shreim, residing near Khaled Bin Al-Waleed Mosque in the eastern suburb of Thannaba, were forced to evacuate their homes.

Local sources reported that 200 families have been forcibly displaced from their homes in several neighborhoods of Tulkarem refugee camp, particularly in Qaqoun, Abu Al-Foul, and Marba’at Hanoun, over the past two days. This displacement follows the escalation of military operations and threats by the Israeli army, warning residents to leave their homes and not return.

Additionally, Israeli soldiers stormed the Moath Bin Jabal Mosque in Tulkarem refugee camp, causing extensive damage as part of a series of attacks targeting places of worship and public property in the city.

On Sunday evening, Israeli soldiers intensified their assaults and violations targeting Palestinians in the Tulkarem refugee camp, located in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

These attacks come in the context of the ongoing escalation by the Israeli occupation forces in the city of Tulkarem and its two refugee camps, which has resulted in the killing of 13 citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant, in addition to the injury and arrest of dozens, and the forced displacement of more than 12,000 citizens from Nour Shams camp, and another 12,000 from Tulkarem camp.

The aggression also caused widespread destruction to the infrastructure, homes, shops and vehicles, many of which were completely or partially demolished, burned, vandalized, looted and stolen.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army has now killed 865 Palestinians, including 180 children: 240 in Jenin, 197 in Tulkarem, 97 in Nablus, 77 in Hebron, 72 in Tubas, 59 in Ramallah, 33 in Qalqilia, 31 in Jerusalem suburbs, 20 in Jerusalem, 4 in Salfit, and 12 in Jericho and the Northern Plains, in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

In the Gaza Strip, Israel has now killed at least 48,572 Palestinians, including over 17,885 children and 12,300 women, and injured more than 112,032, mostly women and children. Many Palestinians remain under the rubble in various parts of the devastated Gaza Strip.
