Israeli forces invaded, in the predawn hours of Monday, the northern West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp, stormed many citizens homes, and caused a power outage after targeting an electricity generator.
Before dawn Monday, Israeli forces invaded the northern West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp, accompanied by a military bulldozer, amid the overhead flight of a reconnaissance drone.
Armed Palestinian resistance fighters confronted the intruding army and engaged in a an intense exchange of fire with occupation forces.
The army fired smoke bombs in the middle of Jenin camp, while military vehicles roamed around Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin.
Later, military reinforcements invaded the city of Jenin, while soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes in the Al-Damj and Al-Hawashin neighborhoods causing destruction.
The army also stormed the neighborhoods of Jabal Abu Dhahir and Khallet Al-Souha in the city, and targeted an electricity generator causing a power outage in the camp and in several neighborhoods in the city.
In related news, occupation forces erected, on Monday afternoon, a flying military roadblock at the entrance to Zububa village, northwest of the city, stopping vehicles, checking the identification of citizens and interrogating them.
The army fortified their presence in the areas of Zububa village and Rummanah village, northwest of the city, and stormed the villages of Al-Araqa to the west, and Al-Hafirah southwest of the city.
Meanwhile, the army erected flying military roadblocks near Ya’bad town and Kufeirat village to the west, in addition to Arrabah town, and Mirka village southwest of the city.
