The Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission revealed that Israeli occupation authorities have seized 531 dunams of Palestinian land in Jenin governorate through two military orders labeled “land seizure orders,” citing so‑called security and military purposes.

According to the Commission, the first order targeted 513 dunams belonging to the villages of Jaba’, Fandaqumiya, Silat ath-Thaher, al‑‘Atara, and Burqa. Military Order T/175/25 calls for the construction of a fenced road linking evacuated colonial sites such as Sanur and Housh, connecting them to one another.

The second order seized 17.321 dunams of land from the villages of Ya’bad and Arraba, stretching between Amriha and Jabal al‑‘Oqda west of the illegal colony of Mevo Dotan. Military Order T/169/25 authorizes the establishment of a so‑called “security road” in the area.

In a parallel measure, the occupation army issued Military Order 51/25 to strip 124 dunams of land in Ya’bad of its tree cover, under the pretext of implementing “security measures” between the town and Mevo Dotan colony.

The Commission noted that since the beginning of 2025, the occupation has intensified the issuance of land seizure orders for military and security purposes.

A total of 91 orders have resulted in the confiscation of 2,549 dunams, in addition to 46 separate orders to uproot trees. These measures aim to impose new realities on the ground, particularly around “security roads,” walls, and buffer zones surrounding illegal colonies.

The Commission stressed that this escalation reflects a deliberate policy to seize the largest possible areas of Palestinian land, exploiting the pretext of security to expand colonies and entrench control over the territory.
