Israeli forces shot and killed, on Tuesday, a Palestinian child in the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem after infiltrating the camp.
On Tuesday evening, Israeli forces stormed the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, while local Palestinian youths protested the incursion.
A large infantry unit invaded the camp, while local youths shot fireworks into the air to protest the army incursion.
A video from social media showed the moment an Israeli sharpshooter targeted a Palestinian child in the camp, as he dropped to the ground.
Initially Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that a child was very seriously injured after Israeli forces shot him with live ammunition.
It was added that their ambulance crews transported the child to a hospital in Jerusalem, while media sources reported that the child succumbed to a serious gunshot wound.
The slain child was identified as Rami Hamdan Al-Halhouli, 13, from the Shu’fat refugee camp.
In related news, occupation forces shot and killed, on Monday evening, two Palestinian young men, west of the town of Attil, northeast of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
The slain young men were identified as Mohammad Ja’far Mustafa Jabr, 34, Tawfiq Ayed Fawwaz Hussein, 25.
