On Tuesday, Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian in the central part of the devasted Gaza Strip, while a child died from hypothermia.

Media sources said the army opened fire at displaced Palestinians, east of Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza, killing one.

They added that the army also fired live rounds at areas east of Abasan town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the coastal enclave.

In addition, a Palestinian child, about two years of age, died from hypothermia to a lack of resources, shelter, and Israel’s ongoing deadly blockade of Gaza.

On Monday morning, Israeli soldiers shot and killed two Palestinians in the center of Rafah city, in the Gaza Strip’s southernmost part.

On Sunday evening, two Palestinians were killed following an Israeli drone strike east of the destroyed Gaza Airport, located east of Rafah city in the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip, while four Palestinians were killed earlier in Rafah, Khan Younis and Beit Hanoun.

Since the ceasefire in Gaza took effect on January 19, 2025, more than 118 fatalities have been reported in hospitals across the region, in addition to more than 490 injuries.

Since October 7, 2023, the number of slain Palestinians has exceeded 48,388, including at least 17,881 children, 12,298 women, 1,068 medical staff, 204 journalists, and 94 Civil Defense medics. Additionally, more than 111,803 have been injured, largely children and women.
