On Wednesday, Israeli missiles and shells killed at least two hundred Palestinians and wounded hundreds after firing barrages of missiles and shells at homes and buildings in the densely populated and devastated Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army fired missiles at many homes in the Nusseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, especially in the Bloc 9 area, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including women and children; many Palestinians remain under the rubble.
In Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza, at least one woman and two children were killed by Israeli missiles targeting a number of homes.
The army also fired many artillery shells at homes and Buildings in the Abu Iskandar area in Sheikh Radwan, north of Gaza.
The soldiers fired many shells and missiles at homes and buildings in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, killing and wounding many Palestinians.
In Jabalia, in northern Gaza, the army fired a missile at a home for the Sweidan family in the Al-Yaman As-Sa’id area, killing and wounding many Palestinians, and when Palestinian medics tried to reach the area, the army fired missiles at them.
Furthermore, the army fired missiles at the homes of more than nine families and around Khalifa School in the center of Beit Lahia, where more than 8000 Palestinians sheltered after fleeing their homes.
The army also fired missiles at medics and rescue teams trying to reach Beit Lahia to look for wounded and slain Palestinians and abducted many medics while evacuating wounded Palestinians.
The Israeli Air Force fired missiles at two homes for the Ashour family near the Al-Kholafa’ Mosque in northern Gaza and at a home for the Dalo family in Sheja’eyya, east of Gaza.
At least three Palestinians were injured when an Israeli missile targeted a home in the Al-Barazil neighborhood in Rafah, in southern Gaza.
The army fired many artillery shells at homes and buildings in the Al-Fakhari area, east of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, causing many casualties.
On Wednesday morning, Qatar announced that, in coordination with Egypt and the United States, a four-day ceasefire agreement was reached, adding that this ceasefire could be extended.
The agreement include the release of 50 Israeli women and children held in Gaza, and in return, Israel would release many imprisoned Palestinian women and children, in addition to allowing the entry of humanitarian and relief aid, including fuel, to the coastal region.
Israeli missiles and shells have killed at least 14532 Palestinians, including more than 6000 children and 4000 women (70% of slain Palestinians are women and children), since October 7. Among the slain Palestinians are 205 doctors, nurses, and medics, in addition to 64 journalists.
The number of wounded Palestinians exceeded 35000; 75% of them were women and children, while the army also fired missiles and shells at 102 government-run facilities and 266 schools, including UNRWA-run schools, destroying 67 of the schools and causing serious damage to other targeted schools and buildings.
There are more than 7000 Palestinians, including 4700 children and women, largely buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings and in trees across the Gaza Strip.
