Israeli occupation forces killed four Palestinians and injured several others on Monday morning in artillery and drone strikes east of Gaza City and Khan Younis.

Medical sources identified three of the victims:

  • Mohammad Wael al‑Reefi: killed when artillery targeted the Sha‘af area in al‑Tuffah neighborhood, Gaza City, where the army also detonated booby‑trapped vehicles.
  • Ahmad Abdul Rahim Sahmoud: killed and others wounded when an Israeli drone bombed inside the “yellow line” area of Bani Suheila, east Khan Younis. The “yellow line” refers to a boundary established under the October 2025 ceasefire agreement, marking the redeployment line of Israeli forces inside the Strip.
  • Ala’ Mazem Abu Reeda: killed when an Israeli drone fired a missile at Palestinians in the Ermeida area, east Khan Younis, injuring at least two others.
  • The fourth victim, killed in Abasan al‑Kabira east of Khan Younis, remained unidentified at the time of reporting.

Meanwhile, Israeli tanks and helicopter gunships launched further attacks northeast of Rafah, spreading fear among displaced families.

Media sources confirmed that artillery bombardment continues in southern Gaza, alongside the detonation of booby‑trapped vehicles in al‑Tuffah neighborhood, in ongoing violation of the ceasefire agreement.

The Israeli occupation forces also carried out ten airstrikes east of Khan Younis, inside the so‑called “yellow line,” accompanied by demolitions and artillery shelling east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

The bombardment also targeted the education zone in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Strip.

These attacks come as Gaza’s population endures a deepening humanitarian crisis, with the occupation army continuing to strike civilian infrastructure and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian aid to residents.

In related news, the Israeli military launched unexpected high‑level exercises involving the General Staff in the eastern Galilee, simulating the outbreak of war and the management of a full‑scale crisis.

According to the military spokesperson, the drills will run for two days, aiming to test and enhance the army’s readiness across multiple scenarios.

Since the ceasefire announced on October 11, more than 342 Palestinians have been killed, 871 injured, and 574 bodies recovered from the rubble of destroyed homes and infrastructure.

On Saturday, the Israeli military once again violated the ceasefire, killing at least 22 Palestinian citizens in Gaza City, Deir al‑Balah, and the Nuseirat refugee camp, and wounding many others.

Israel has violated the ceasefire nearly 500 times, through airstrikes, artillery fire, drone attacks, and ground invasions.

The overall toll of Israel’s ongoing assault on Gaza since October 7, 2023, now exceeds 69,000 Palestinians killed and more than 170,000 injured, the majority of them women and children.
