In the northern occupied West Bank, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian and injured many others, in the Nablus governorate, while four citizens of the Jenin governorate were abducted.
On Saturday morning Israeli forces abducted a citizen of Jenin, identified as Muhammad Mar’i, 31, while he was in a vehicle traveling near the entrance to the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.
Later, soldiers abducted two Palestinian citizens of Ya’bad town, Muhammad Hazem Bajawi and Bahaa Talib Bajawi, while they were attempting to pass through a military roadblock near the town of Arrabah southwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
Israeli forces abducted, on Saturday evening, Qais Nawaf Fashafsheh, a citizen of the Jenin governorate while he was trying to pass through a military roadblock near the village of Al-Mansour.
Meanwhile, the army abducted Youssef Mahmoud Amarneh while he was passing through a military roadblock in Barta’a town, west of Jenin.
Soldiers stormed the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin, and invaded several neighborhoods, which sparked protests.
Armed resistance fighters exchanged fire with the attacking army, while soldiers fired live rounds and concussion grenades without causing any casualties.
It was added that Israeli forces erected military roadblocks near Ya’bad town and Kufeirat village west of the city, in addition to Arrabah town southeast of Jenin.
The soldiers stopped and searched many vehicles, and checked the citizens’ identification while detaining and interrogating young men
North of Jenin, occupation forces invaded the village of Al-Jalamah, deployed an infantry unit and carried out a search campaign, while firing many live rounds, triggering protests.
On Saturday afternoon, the army shot a Palestinian young man after invading the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
According to Muhammad Azem, the Mayor of Sebastia, occupation forces opened fire with live rounds at Palestinian youths who resisted the incursion, shooting a young man in the foot; he was transported to hospital for treatment.
In the evening, Israeli occupation forces invaded the town of Aqraba southeast of Nablus, fired tear gas canisters at citizens, dozens of whom sustained inhalation injuries.
At the same time, Israeli soldiers stormed the town of Qabalan, south of Nablus, fired tear gas canisters at local Palestinians, causing many to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
