The Israeli army shot, on Thursday, fifteen Palestinian young men with live ammunition, causing serious injuries to four, and causing many others to sustain inhalation injuries during incursions in to various areas of the occupied West Bank.

Tulkarem

On Thursday evening Israeli forces stormed the town of Qaffin, northeast of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, sparking protests.

The army fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters towards Palestinian young men who resisted the military incursion, injuring several citizens.

Israeli forces shot and injured five Palestinian citizens with live rounds, two of whom were described as serious, while dozens more suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

It was added that the soldiers obstructed the work of ambulances that were transporting the injured, forcing them to take injuries to a medical center in the town, while one injured man was transferred to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in the city of Tulkarem.

Nablus

On Thursday morning, Israeli special forces invaded the Old City of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, followed by reinforcements, and surrounded a house in the Al-Hila neighborhood.

During the incursion, soldiers invaded homes and abducted three young men identified as Jalal Owaijan, Maan Abu Lawi, and Khalil Zakaria, and opened fire towards those who protested the invasion, injuring four young men.

According to Ahmad Jibril, the director of the Ambulance and Emergency Center at the Red Crescent Society in Nablus, ambulance crews transported two young men who were shot in their legs to hospital and treated two who sustained shrapnel injuries from live rounds.

Meanwhile, south of Nablus, Israeli occupation forces brutally assaulted a Palestinian young man in the town of Huwwara, south of Nablus on Thursday afternoon.

A PRCS ambulance crew transported the young man to hospital for medical intervention after he sustained various injuries from the assault.

Bethlehem

On Thursday evening the Israeli army invaded the town of Al-Khader, southwest of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank, triggering protests among local Palestinian youths.

Soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion, causing various injuries.

According to Palestine TV, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that 18 Palestinians were injured, 6 of whom were shot with live ammunition, and were transported to hospital for medical intervention.

The Ministry of Health described two of the gunshot injuries as serious, and added that one young man sustained a shrapnel injury to his eye.

The Ministry added that dozens of young men sustained inhalation injuries as a result of tear gas exposure.
