Israeli forces shot six Palestinian young men, on Thursday evening, and injured dozens of others after invading many neighborhoods in the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

Media sources said that the army stormed several neighborhoods in Ramallah city, on Thursday evening, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.

The army invaded the Ain Misbah neighborhood, leading to protests, while soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel rounds, and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion.


During the confrontations, soldiers shot one young man with a live round in the thigh, while another young man was struck with bullet fragments in the neck, both of whom were transported to hospital.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that their ambulance crews treated four young men who were shot with rubber-coated steel rounds, forty who suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation, and two who sustained burns.

After withdrawing from the city, soldiers fired a tear gas canisters into a café in the village of Ain Qinya, to the west, resulting in one person fainting and falling.

This action sparked protests among local Palestinians, while soldiers fired live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades without causing any casualties.


In related news, Israeli forces abducted Muhammad Yasser Nafi, and confiscated his motorcycle, in the town of Ni’lin, west of the city.

In Deir Qaddis village, west of Ramallah, occupation soldiers invaded and searched the home of Ziad Abdel Rahim Nasser, 41, before abducting him.

Before dawn Thursday, soldiers stormed the city of Al-Biereh, and the village of Khirbet Abu Falah, northwest of Ramallah, the village of Burqa to the east, and the town of Beit Liqya, southwest of the city.

It was added that soldiers invaded many citizens’ homes and an earlier report stated that the army invaded and ransacked the home of current prisoner, Bahij Badr, and assaulted his family.
