The Israeli army shot, on Thursday afternoon, three Palestinian young men, two of whom were deemed critical, in the town of Husan, west of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.

On Wednesday, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian child, Mahmoud Muhammad Issa Zaoul, 16, in Husan town, west of Bethlehem, after shooting him in the neck with live ammunition, and shot at least eleven others with live ammunition.

Soldiers occupied many rooftops in the area, turning them into observation points, while Palestinian youths protested the military presence.


In response, soldiers opened fire at mourners with live ammunition, shooting three and critically injuring two.

According to Abdel Fattah Jaafra, the Director of the Ambulance and Emergency services at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Bethlehem, three citizens were injured by live rounds.

Jaafra added that two of the injured young men were in critical condition after sustaining gunshot wounds to the thigh and abdomen, while the third young man was shot in the thigh.

PRCS ambulance crews transported all of the injured young men to hospitals in Bethlehem for medical intervention.

In related news, Israeli forces abducted Tawfiq Nasser Al-Shamali, 25, Adham Muhammad Abu Surour, 19, and Nader Samih Aziyah, 20, from Doha town, west of the city, in addition to the eight abducted earlier.
