Israeli forces shot, on Tuesday, two Palestinian young men and abducted another in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that undercover Israeli agents (Musta’ribeen) infiltrated the “Al-Tirawiyah” neighborhood in the Balata camp, and surrounded a citizen’s home, while firing many live rounds.

According to Ahmad Jibril, the director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Ambulance and Emergency Services in Nablus, a 24-year-old young man sustained a live gunshot wound to the knee; he was transported to hospital for treatment.

Jibril added that another young man sustained a shrapnel wound from a live round and was treated at the scene.

Sources added that after military reinforcements arrived the soldiers abducted the young man, Dhaa Sawalhi, before withdrawing from the camp.

In related news, Israeli soldiers killed Ahmad Ramzi Abed Sultan, 20, on Tuesday, after shooting him in the chest and abdomen with live rounds in the central West Bank city of Al-Biereh.

Also, on Monday evening, Israeli soldiers seriously injured a Palestinian child after shooting him in the chest with live ammunition in Shiokh Al-Arroub town, north of Hebron, in the southern West Bank.
