Israeli forces shot, on Thursday, two Palestinian young men, in Sir village south of Jenin in the northern West Bank, bombed a home, and abducted at least four young men.

The home of citizen, Suleiman Abu Al-Rub in Sir village south of Jenin, was besieged by the army, who broke into the home, damaged its contents, and detained an unknown number of young men.


Media sources said that occupation forces fired an “Energa” missile at the besieged home, and abducted Mustafa Abu Al-Rub and Abdullah Muhammad Irshid, in addition to abducting Wadah Abu Al-Rub after invading and searching his home.

The army broke into and searched many homes in the towns and villages, while soldiers were met with fierce resistance by armed Palestinian resistance fighters who exchanged fire with the attacking army in Sir village.


At least two Palestinian young men were shot in their feet by the army with live ammunition; their conditions were not known at the time of writing this report.

It was added that the army declared the village of Sir a closed military zone for 4 hours, and fired live rounds at journalists, and damaged several vehicles.

According to Wael Irshaid, the head of the Sir Village Council, soldiers stormed the town of Meithalun, and Al-Judeida village to the south, in addition to Sanur village to the southwest, and erected military roadblocks to search citizens’ vehicles.

A social media video shows several Israeli soldiers transporting an unknown injured person from a military jeep to a military helicopter.


Earlier reports revealed that the army abducted Jaafar Muhammad Abu Al-Rub at dawn Thursday, after storming and searching his home in Jalbun village, east of Jenin.
