Israeli forces shot two Palestinians, including a child, on Monday afternoon, in the southern Gaza Strip, while occupation authorities cut off the supply of electricity to two desalination plants in the central Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces shot a Palestinian with live ammunition in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood of Rafah city, in the southern Gaza Strip.

He added that Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian child with live rounds east of Al-Qarara town, north of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, the occupation authorities cut off the electricity to the two sea water desalination plants in Deir Al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.

The Deir al-Balah Municipality announced, on Monday, that the Israeli government cut off the supply of electricity to the desalination plants, which supply approximately 70% of the population of Deir al-Balah and surrounding areas.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that 48,397 citizens have been killed, including women and children, while 111,825 others have been wounded as a result of Israel’s brutal military onslaught against the besieged Gaza Strip beginning on October 7, 2023.

In related news, the army shot and killed two displaced Palestinians in the center of Rafah city, and opened fire towards citizens in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip.

Also, an Israeli attack helicopter fired missiles at Palestinians, injuring three, in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
