On Sunday night, an illegal Israeli colonizer stabbed a Palestinian bus driver while he was on duty in the illegal “Modi’in Ilit” colony, built on expropriated Palestinian lands, northwest of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that an Israeli settler attacked the young man, Ahmed Abu Al-Hawa, with a knife, causing injuries for which he was transported to hospital.

The identity of the perpetrator was not known at the time of writing this report, however occupation police reportedly “launched an investigation to determine the whereabouts of the suspect in this act.”
In contrast, Palestinians who attempt to carry out attacks against Israeli settlers or soldiers, the occupation army usually shoots the accused attacker, often killing them, rather than arresting them.
All Israeli settlements and settlers in the occupied West Bank are illegal, as stated in Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention;
The Occupying Power [Israel] shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies [Palestine].
