On Sunday night, several illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked the village of Burin, south of Nablus in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, attacked homes, and burned two cars.
Local sources said a large group of paramilitary colonizers invaded the outskirts of the village and headed to Palestinian homes in the area.
They added that the colonizers attacked several homes, terrifying the residents, especially the children.
During the attack, the assailing colonizers damaged a Palestinian car in the village before setting it ablaze.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
In related news, Israeli soldiers shot and killed, on Sunday, two Palestinian children at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Biereh, east of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
On Sunday evening, Israeli forces shot and killed two Palestinian children, Suleiman Mohammad Suleiman Kanaan, 17, and Khaled Amer Hmeidat, 16, at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Biereh, east of Ramallah.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli soldiers killed Ahmad Mousa Mohammad Jabarin and Jalal Issa Mohammad Jabarin, near Sa’ir town, northeast of Hebron.
Earlier Sunday, Israeli forces killed a Jordanian-Palestinian child, Lu’ay Majed Salem Soufi, 16, in the Ein Al-Sultan refugee camp northwest of Jericho city in the northeastern part of the West Bank.

In the Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells have killed at least 24.000 Palestinians and injured more than 60.582; most of the slain and wounded Palestinians are women, children, and elders due to Israel’s targeting of entire families, since October 7, 2023.
Israeli missiles and attacks have also killed 326 medical staff and injured 764, in addition to destroying 94 healthcare centers, 65 hospitals, and 76 ambulances. The Israeli army also abducted 65 medics and healthcare workers.
