Updated: On Saturday, fanatic illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, accompanied by soldiers, attacked homes and injured one Palestinian in Beit Furik town, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

Husein Haj Mohammad, the mayor of Beit Furik, stated that the colonizers, accompanied by many Israeli soldiers, invaded several areas on the outskirts of the town.

He added that the colonizers attacked several Palestinian homes, causing damage and leading to protests.

Mohammad stated that the Israeli soldiers fired many live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the Palestinians instead of removing the colonizers.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has confirmed that one Palestinian, 32, suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh, before the medics rushed him to a hospital in Nablus.

Last Saturday, Israeli colonizers invaded the same area before burning many Palestinian cars and agricultural sheds.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”
