Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinian residents on Saturday in the al‑Hamma area of the northern Jordan Valley in the occupied West Bank.

Witnesses reported that a group of colonizers stormed the area and assaulted several residents near their homes.

The attackers also attempted to force families out of their shelters, escalating tensions in a region that has faced continuous colonizer violations for months.

Local sources said the colonizers targeted residential structures in al‑Hamma, beating residents and threatening them with further violence if they remained on their land. No medical information was immediately available regarding the extent of the injuries.

Communities across the northern Jordan Valley have been subjected to daily and intensifying attacks by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers.

These violations routinely include assaults on homes, intimidation of families, and the chasing of shepherds from grazing areas.

Colonizers have also been documented attacking livestock, preventing access to pastureland, and, in some cases, attempting to seize or kill animals.

Also on Saturday, Israeli colonizers shot a Palestinian child near Bethlehem and attacked citizens and their properties in several areas of the occupied West Bank.

In the northern Jordan Valley, a group of paramilitary colonizers harassed, assaulted Palestinian families, and killed livestock.

In the “Jabaris” area of the northern Jordan Valley, a group of armed settlers chased shepherds, killed livestock, and opened fire with live ammunition at citizens; no injuries were reported.

Osama Makhamra, a local activist, stated that several paramilitary Israeli colonizers stormed the property of the citizen Khaled Al-Na’amin in Khirbet Qawabis in Masafer Yatta.

Makhamra added that the colonizers broke into the citizen’s sheep pen and attempted to steal his sheep, before residents confronted them.

Residents and rights groups warn that the pattern of violence aims to pressure Palestinian communities to leave the area, clearing the way for further colonialist expansion in one of the most strategically contested regions of the occupied West Bank.
