On Sunday, Israeli colonizers burned Palestinian property near Salfit, in the central West Bank, and established illegal settlement outposts, while occupation soldiers assaulted an anti-settlement activist south of Hebron in the southern West Bank.

Media sources reported that Israeli settlers attempted to establish a colonial outpost on Sunday evening, in the village of At-Tuwana in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

Local Palestinians confronted the colonizers before occupation forces invaded the village, stormed several citizens’ homes and detained a number of them.


According to activist Osama Makhamreh, reported that Israeli soldiers chased local activist, Nasser Al-Adra, before assaulting him; he was transported to the Yatta Governmental Hospital for treatment.


Meanwhile, Israeli colonizers erected a number of mobile homes in the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank on Sunday evening.

Media sources said that settlers erected mobile homes on land belonging to the Al-Sabah family, near the illegal “Tekoa” colony, built on Palestinian lands.

Furthermore, colonizers established a new outpost in the village of Shallalat al-Auja, north of Jericho in the northeastern part of the West Bank.

Hassan Mleihat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights reported that illegal colonizers seized a barracks and began erecting a new settlement outpost.

Earlier Sunday, a group of Israeli settlers set fire to an agricultural barn and destroyed a water collection well and forced the owner to leave his land in the town of al-Zawiya, west of Salfit in the central West Bank.

According to Abdul Aziz Shaqeer, the property owner, a group of illegal colonizers invaded his property, burned an agricultural barn and 8 olive trees, in addition to destroying a water well, before attacking and forcibly evicting him and his family members from their home.


In related news, Israeli forces commenced paving a settler-only road in the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, on Sunday morning.

Media sources reported that a large army force invaded the town of Hizma, adding that illegal colonizers, under the protection of the army, attacked Palestinian citizens.
