On Wednesday, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded and caused damage to an agricultural facility and its contents belonging to the Salama Shqeirat family in the town of Sawahra, southeast of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.

The colonizers invaded the property, attacked the livestock, causing the animals to scatter, and vandalized the site.

The destruction included smashing a tractor, shattering window glass, damaging room interiors, and destroying solar panels, surveillance cameras, fencing, and large quantities of animal feed.

In a statement, the Jerusalem Governorate emphasized that this assault is part of an escalating pattern of violations targeting Palestinian residents in the area.

Just days earlier, colonizers had physically assaulted a local farmer. These attacks occur amid ongoing Israeli policies of harassment, punitive fines, and detentions of Palestinians while they are present on their own land.

The governorate held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for these crimes, citing its support and protection of colonizers and its failure to hold them accountable.

It warned that the Jerusalem wilderness is being targeted by systematic colonial plans aimed at forcibly displacing its residents.

Despite these escalating violations, local communities continue to resist and remain steadfast in their attachment to their land.

In related news, the colonizers assaulted a Palestinian man in the village of Hares, northwest of the Salfit in the central West Bank, while he was harvesting cactus plants in Wadi Qana. They wounded him in the arm and stole his agricultural tools along with the harvested cactus.

Earlier Wednesday, Israeli soldiers abducted many Palestinians, shot one and demolished two facilities, during massive invasions and violent property searches across the occupied West Bank.

On Tuesday, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers continued their violations against Palestinians and their properties across the occupied West Bank.

Last Friday, Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers carried out numerous attacks against Palestinians, their homes, and their lands across several areas of the occupied West Bank, killing two Palestinians, including a Palestinian-Americanand wounding many others were wounded, in Sinjil town, northwest of Ramallah.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states“The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”
