On Monday, fanatic illegal Israeli colonizers injured three Palestinians in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Eyewitnesses said the paramilitary colonizers came from Karmiel and other nearby illegal colonies and outposts before invading the Palestinian lands.
They added that the colonizers assaulted several Palestinian farmers, and maced them with pepper spray.
Medical sources said three Palestinians suffered cuts, bruises, and suffocation injuries, before receiving treatment, while one of them was moved to a hospital for more treatment.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
In related news, Israeli soldiers abducted a Palestinian shepherd, Mousa Hasan Shawahin, while herding his sheep in the Wad Al-Jawaya area near Tiwana village in Masafer Yatta.
Earlier Monday, Israeli forces abducted at least sixteen Palestinians, including a journalist and a former prisoner in various regions of the occupied West Bank, and conducted sabotage operations in Tulkarem and Nablus.
