Late Monday night, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers killed a Palestinian man and moderately injured three in Wad Rahhal village, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that the colonizers fatally shot Khalil Salem Khalil Ziyada, 40.
he Health Ministry added that Khalil was among four Palestinians whom the Israeli colonizers shot, killing Khalawi and moderately wounding three.
Hamdi Ziyada, the head of Wadi Rahhal Village Council, said the colonizers fired live rounds at many homes and citizens near the local boys’ school.
Ziyada added that Israeli soldiers also invaded the village and attacked the Palestinians who defended their homes, and fired concussion grenades and gas bombs at the residents, causing many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
It is worth mentioning that the illegal paramilitary colonizers carried out 1,334 attacks in the occupied West Bank in the first half of 2024, causing damage and burning dozens of homes and property, killing seven Palestinians, and wounding many more.
Also Monday, Israeli forces killed Eyad Ayed Abed Najjar, 46, in the village of Janba, in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers have now killed 651 Palestinians, including 150 children and 9 women, in the occupied West Bank since October 7, 2023.
On Monday afternoon and at night, the Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the devastated Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians across the destroyed coastal enclave.
Israel has now killed at least 40,435 and injured more than 93,534, mostly children, women, and elderly, in addition to the thousands of missing Palestinians, mostly under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, on destroyed streets and in bombarded alleys across the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
It is worth mentioning that Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said that in the period between October 7, 2023, and August 21, 2024, Israel killed 48,380 Palestinians, (43,592 civilians) including 16,008 children, and 10,351 women, 522 healthcare professionals, 301civil defense workers, and 171 journalists, and injured 92,320.
